Shanghai Chemical Fiber (Group) Import & Export Co., Ltd. is a state-owned foreign trade company under a large national importer and exporter Orient International (Holding) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Group"). Its parent company Shanghai New Union Textra Import and Export Co., Ltd., the largest foreign trade monomer in Shanghai, was established in 1991. It has been engaged in the import and export business for more than thirty years.

Its business scope covers various chemical fiber fabrics for manufacturing automobile, motorcycle and bicycle tyres, including chinlon and polyester cord fabrics, chinlon and polyester tire cords, chinlon and polyester filament yarns, rubber manufacturing machinery and accessories, as well as non-woven fabrics, PVC oxford fabrics, flocked cloths, and polyester textiles. In the meantime, it is engaged in the import and export of the following commodities and technologies: textiles, raw materials of chemical fibers, pulp and additives for chemical fiber, rubber products, hardware & electric materials, and mechanical equipment.

Pursuing first-class service and high quality, the Company has more than thirty years of experience in product manufacturing, development and import & export. Trade-centered and market-oriented, it is applying technologies to various textiles, raw materials of chemical fibers and chemical fiber products, which adds a great advantage to its product quality. Besides, it has established some cross-region and cross-industry designated manufacturers and cooperative enterprises based on technical service and S&T investment. As a result, a complete supply chain system is created, with its products being exported to Southeast Asia and South America. Its tyre fabrics are widely recognized in the international market.

By means of its trading qualifications for over thirty years and comprehensive strength, in February 2022, the Company introduced the high-quality business of Shanghai Hua Shen Import & Export Co., Ltd., a foreign trade company under the Group, to continue to expand its business coverage and increase it trade scale.
